PC Repair - How It Started...
For several years now we've had a section of our website set aside
for computer tips and tricks for our customers and anyone else who
needed help. This was our "Tech Tips" section of our site and it was
created to help the average person who was just starting out with
computers.
In the past, you may have seen the tech
tips portion of our flintmich site. The address is
www.flintmich.com/techtips. It was (and still is) a sub-web with
tips and tricks and suggestions for helping beginners. In fact, our
tag-line for this section of our site has always been "Helping the
average computer user learn the basics".
If you've ever been to the tech tips
section, then you know how true that tag-line is. We've tried to
keep things so absolutely basic and simple that even a first time
computer user could understand it enough to get them started.
For the last several years our web design and hosting clients, as
well as others, have been asking me to fix their computers and other
computer related devices. I've been building and repairing my own
computers, as well as our clients, since the early 1990s.
Who Knew?
To our surprise, the PC
repair section of our
business has become so popular that we've needed to expand on it to
serve our customers adequately. For this reason, TJ
Tech Computer Service & Repair was born. It's still part of the flintmich
team, but we needed to keep things separated and better organized.
In fact, we've even gone as far as
creating a whole new website just for these services. I'm
incorporating the Tips & Tricks part of the site with
the PC repair services. The new site can
be found at
www.tjstechtips.com. This site is still in the beginning
stages of development and has a LOT of unfinished pages and
sections. But we wanted to make this site available to our customers
and visitors even though it's still quite incomplete.
So if your computer is giving you fits
and you can't afford to take it to the "Charge Way Too Much" Squad,
then I can help. To find out more about our Computer Repair
Services, and to learn lots of tips and tricks while you're at it, just head over to
the new site for TJ Tech Computer Service & Repair at
www.tjstechtips.com.
Don't forget about the "Good Guy Price"
Keep in mind that our flintmich clients
get a 10% discount on any computer repairs. Be sure to let us know
that you're a current flintmich customer when you contact us about
repairing your computer.
