WOW!

I had absolutely no idea that this site was getting so much traffic! The last time I checked, numbers were pretty low. Since I had gotten so busy with computers in my shop and other clients wanting web pages done, I've put this site on the back burner. OK, it wasn't on any burner. I had abandoned it basically. But tonight I looked at my server files and was surprised to find that I was getting so much traffic here. And a lot of the traffic stays long enough to obviously be reading some of this stuff.

I know, I need to add a lot of info for the XP users out there. I just haven't had time. Between family, work and other commitments, I've allowed this site to become stagnant. I apologize to those of you who have become regular visitors. I hope to make some updates in the very near future.

I'm working on a slightly different look for the site right now, yeah, right now as we speak. I'm hoping it will be easier to find stuff and I hope it looks a little better too. At least it will be something different. This site has become pretty stagnant and I've been getting a lot of complaints about it....sorry. But give me a little while and the new look should be up before too long.

Hi, and welcome to my Tech Tips website. The purpose of this site is to offer answers to some basic and common computer problems and/or  questions. I will try to explain them in a way that a beginning computer user will be able to understand. I am not a teacher so please bare with me.

If you are unable to completely understand any of the explanations at this site, feel free to email me with additional details about your problem and I will do my best to help you out. The links at the top of each page will take you to the different areas of this site. Each general area is broken down into more specific detail once you get to that area.

If you have any suggestions, good or bad, I want to hear about them. Please email your comments or suggestions to me as well. If you have additional tips or techniques, I would really appreciate it if you would share them with us and I will post them here and give you credit for the tip.

Obviously I am unable to cover all of the possible questions and / or problems in this small site, so I will try to focus on those questions and problems that people ask me about most frequently. This site and it's content will be in an ever-growing state so be sure to stop back by from time to time to see if anything new has been added. If you do not find your problem here, email me and perhaps I can dig up an answer and post it here.

Please keep in mind that this site is pretty low on the priority list between my day job and maintaining sites for paying clients, so remember to be patient. I will only be adding to this tech tips site as I get the time. Between my family and work, it might not get much attention for long periods of time. Thanks for understanding.
