How to find what you're looking


Search engines are the life-blood of the internet. Without them, you'd have to randomly type in web addresses until you hit a site that had what you were looking for. Not very likely. 

These powerful tools make it possible for you to find information on absolutely ANY subject. There are hundreds of search engines and more are added every week. For a list of my favorite Top 10 search engines, go here.

Here are a few tips and tricks for using search engines to find what you are looking for while surfing. There are a lot of ways to look for information on the Internet. Some ways work better than others. I'll try to point out some of the better techniques.

Remember, these are just a sample of the many ways to search the internet. And things change on the web every day. With this in mind, I'll try to update this section from time to time with any new ideas I come across. If you have a tip, please send it in. OK. The search is on.....
